We would like to invite you to attend the IPR Working Group election meeting on Patent Dispute on Novel Coronavirus Drug Remdeseviron 12th March, 14:00 – 16:00 via the digital platform Zoom (you will receive a link upon registration). This meeting will consist of three parts.

Firstly, this WG meeting will include the IPR Working Group 2020-2021 Chair elections. Only IPR WG members who had their registration confirmed for this meeting will have the right to vote online, with one vote per company. The second part of the WG meeting would be to discuss the Patent Issues with Novel Coronavirus Drug Remdesevir. At this meeting, Ms. Guo Songxi, Patent Counsel at Bayer China, will discuss the risks to IP Protection as it relates to the development of a drug to cure illness brought about by the novel coronavirus.

The third part of the Working Group meeting would be to brainstorm for the key recommendations for the 2020/2021 IPR position paper that will be drafted this coming half year (for the 2019/2020 IPR position paper click here).
