Dear Members,
Please mark your calendars for the Environment Working Groups’ 2021 Kick-off elections Thursday, 25th March 10:00 to 12:00 (GMT+8:00, China time) at the European Chamber’s Shanghai and Beijing offices, as well as online via Zoom. We will hold the 2021/2022 chair elections and discuss the 2021/2022 Environment Position Paper.
Candidates running for the elections will introduce themselves and their goals for the Environment Working Group over the next 12 months. Only Environment WG members who have their registration confirmed for this meeting will have the right to vote in person or online, with one vote per company. Online voting instructions will be sent via email to individual attendees prior to the meeting.

- 10:10-10:40 Presentation by Mr Wenxue Feng, Director of Solid Waste Department, Ministry of Ecology and Environment on the progress of Waste-Free Cities (with simultaneous translation)
- 10:40-11:00 Sharing by Paulo Lopes, Director Strategic Projects, BSI on COP26 and sustainability standards
- 11:10-11:30 Chair election
- 11:30-12:00 Position Paper discussion
