Beijing has launched the formulation of regulations regarding Optimization of Business Environment in Beijing. On 14th November, Beijing Investment Promotion Service Centre and Beijing Development and Reform Commission jointly hold a seminar jointly on rules of Optimization of Business Environment in Beijing, in order to fully understand the difficulties of market entities and listen to the suggestions of various associations and chambers of commerce.

On 13th November, European Chamber Vice President (VP) Charlotte Roule led a delegation to the China Center for International Economic Exchanges (CCIEE) to meet with its Vice Chair (VC) and CEO Zhang Xiaoqiang. The Chamber delegation included representatives from the Energy, Environment and Banking and Securities working groups, Quality and Safety Services Sub-working Group, Paediatric Nutrition Desk and Government Affairs Forum.
