Following the State Administration for Market Regulation initiated the third round public consultation on Administrative Measures for the Examination of Advertisements for Medicine, Medical Device, Health Food and FSMPs(Draft for Comments), the European Chamber has collated all member inputs and submitted them to the SAMR upon circulation of the draft within relevant working groups.

The Foreign Investment Law was adopted at the 2nd Session of the Thirteenth National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China on March 15, 2019 and shall come into force on January 1, 2020. Following this, the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) approached the Chamber for the consultation on the Regulation on the Implementation of the Foreign Investment Law (Public Consultation).

Meeting with World Bank Team
On 28th October, European Chamber Vice President Jens Eskelund, States' representative Mr. Matthias Goebel, and Secretary General Adam Dunnett met with World Bank team led by their Senior Economist Ms Ekaterine T. Vashakmadze at Chamber's Beijing office.
Both sides exchanged views on China's trade and Investment outlook and Chamber presented BCS to Ms Ekaterine T. Vashakmadze during the meeting.
