The International Energy Agency (IEA) is a highly reputed international energy organization. Founded during the oil crisis of 1973-74, the IEA today conducts a broad programme of energy research, data compilation, publications and public dissemination of the latest energy analyses and policy recommendations. It advises governments worldwide to achieve three Es of balanced energy policy making: energy security, economic development and environmental protection.
At the breakfast seminar, the IEA Executive Director and Chief Economist will present their last major indepth study on China and India - World Energy Outlook: China and India Insights"- which will be first released in London on the 7th November.
