The application digital innovation and remote technical services across many industries is varied, but there is no denying that as the world continues to adapt to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic the interest and implementation of automation, artificial intelligence (AI) or robotics is rapidly growing. Specially so, the manufacturing industry, in the midst of the pandemic was greatly affected due to health and safety regulations often needing to innovate when faced with reduction of costs, personnel, and sudden impact in the supply-chain.
This Seminar will focus on the rapid acceleration of manufacturing innovation pushed by the onset of the pandemic across the world. Experts will share their experience on their organization’s adaption through COVID-19 and how automation has been part of it. In addition, Nanxiang Economic City will share their unique perspective as a leading innovation hub featuring robust infrastructure serving many industries.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received in writing at least one full day in advance of the date of the webinar.

Should you fail to cancel your participation on time, the European Chamber reserves the right to transfer future event/webinar registrations to other interested participants. In the case of fee-based events, the event fee will be charged to those who fail to cancel their registration on time.
Advisory Council Policy
Members of the Advisory Council may receive complimentary admission to Chamber seminars, conferences and factory visits up to two attendees per event. Additional participants will be charged at the member rate.
Advisory Council members will still be charged the standard member rate for participation in training courses and special events, such as gala balls, government appreciation dinners, or admission to corporate social events/tournaments.

Ms. Rosanna Terminio
Ms. Rosanna Terminio
With an international background in Europe and South America, and over 15 years living in China, Rosanna Terminio is a consultant, contributor and lecturer specializing in innovation and strategy for the organization, as well as human resources strategist. She works since 2006 for AsecorpChina of which she became owner in 2011 together with a Chinese colleague. Through their offices in Shanghai and Jiaxing (Zhejiang), they support European manufacturing companies doing business in China. As an independent researcher, she published an academic paper titled: “The impact of RAAI (Robotic, Automation and Artificial Intelligence) from the employee perspective. A scoping review”, the paper was presented at: 3rd Catalan Congress of Economy and Business, Barcelona (Spain) in 2018. She also contributed to the book “The work we need. People for Industry 4.0”, published in Italy in October 2018. She is now working at her PhD research about technology driven change and employee’s identity at Catalunya Open University (UOC) and recently completed an exchange semester at Xi’An Jiaotog-Liverpool University, Taicang campus in the Department of Robotics. Rosanna is certified as an Executive Coach (ICC) and LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® facilitator. She gives lectures about Doing Business in China and HR Management in different Management Schools and Universities in Europe and China and participates, with pro-bono consulting, to several CSR activities.
Mr. Jon Penvose
Mr. Jon Penvose
Jon has spent over 30 years working in the manufacturing industry living and working in Europe, North America and China. Jon has held multiple senior global roles working for such companies as the ZF Group, Henniges, and TRW Automotive. In his current role Jon is responsible for sales, marketing and commercial development of Leadec Services in China.
With over 1400 employees in China, Leadec are a leading technical maintenance service supplier focusing on the manufacturing segment.
Jon holds an M.B.A. from Michigan State University as well as other technical qualifications from Europe and NA.
Mr. Peter Xu
Mr. Peter Xu
Mr. Peter Xu is a Partner with Lehmanbrown Shanghai, responsible for all our service lines and projects related to Multinational (Western) Clients in East China. This role comprises the development and delivery of services covering our Audit, Tax, Financial Advisory and Consulting activities.
With more than 20 years of working experience, he is an experienced and recognized business advisor, working with Multinational Companies of all sizes for their inbound projects and strategies. His unique background in accounting enabled him to assist the clients in the manufacturing, wholesale and retail, finance, real estate, and IT industry.
Peter has been awarded as a Member of US Institute of Management Accountant, and Chinese Certified Accountant.
Peter's working languages are English and Chinese.
Mr. Zhudan Ren
Mr. Zhudan Ren
Mr. Ren is manager of Business Attraction Department at Shanghai Nanxiang Economic City, an industrial park affiliated to the Jiading local government.
He has a proven track record of business attraction and investment promotion, providing corporate clients with professional consultancy services in industry positioning, project feasibility study, company site selection, registration process, financial assessment and other compliance issues.
With 15+ years of experience working with local government organizations and government-affiliated industry agencies, he is conversant with China's political system and business-related policy and regulations. He has so far helped hundreds of companies navigate the complex business environment, offering all-round support in the daily operation and development of businesses.
