Mr. Klaus Zenkel
Biography:
Born in Germany and graduated in Industrial Engineering. Until late 80's mainly remained in Germany near his hometown in Erlangen, where he had a position at Siemens Healthcare HQ.
From 1993 to 2006 he was based in Hongkong, Malaysia, Germany and China for several executive management positions within the Siemens Healthcare organization, one of which was Technical Director at Siemens Healthineers facility(SSMR), based in Shenzhen's Hi-Tech Industrial Park.
In 2006 start-up and developed from scratch the Shenzhen subsidiary of a Swiss Company, Imedco AG. Imedco is global player involved in the healthcare Industry, manufacturing MRI shielding solutions for hospitals and research institutions.
Involvement at European Chamber South China Chapter board since 2016. As an active board member of the European Chamber South China Chapter he holds the Chair of the board position since 2021. In the capacity as EU Chamber Vice President supports the member companies and meets with government officials on a regular basis to discuss the current economic and technological issues.
In March 2021 Klaus was elected as a Director of the Board at the Swiss Chamber in South China. He is also a member of the German Chamber in South China.
Mr. Denis Depoux

Denis Depoux began his career in China in 1993 with French energy giant EDF before entering the management consulting industry. In 2001, Depoux joined Roland Berger, focusing on the energy and environmental sectors, and sharing his strong consulting expertise and rich industry experience in the US, Europe and Asia.
Depoux has been actively supporting the firm's Greater China operations since 2007. Since moving to Shanghai in 2015, he has contributed a lot to the transformation towards the new Roland Berger in this region. For Roland Berger Greater China, he has been committedly overseeing a wide variety of Competence Centers. In 2020, Denis was elected Managing Director and has been devoted to the management of Roland Berger's global affairs.
In the energy and utilities sector, Depoux has supported the transformation of major European players throughout the energy market's transition facing a more liberalized and competitive market. He has made extensive contributions in the areas of new products and services, the development of wholesale-market trading, risk management, the development of energy services, etc. He has also advised on several major mergers of European energy players and supported the expansion of electricity and natural-gas players into Europe, the Americas and Asia. More recently, Depoux has supported European and Asian energy players in addressing challenges raised by the trends toward low-carbon energy, energy efficiency, decentralized energy generation and the Internet of energy.
Beyond the energy sector, Depoux has extensive experience in performance and operations improvement, operational and G&A cost reduction, purchasing process transformation, screening, commercial and strategic due diligence for acquisition targets, post-merger integration and organization and governance.
Depoux is a key speaker at top-level forums in Asia, including the Boao Forum for Asia, World Knowledge Forum and China Development Forum. As one of the leading foreign experts working in China, he was invited to a New Year meeting with Chinese Premier to discuss the nation's development. Besides, Depoux often shares his insights on trendy topics both inside and outside China by taking interviews and writing articles for mainstream media channels, including People's Daily, CCTV and Caijing.
Mr. Fabian Blake
Mr. Fabian Blake
Fabian Blake is a Belgian national who presently serves as the Managing Director of AMS Assembly Foshan, a Dutch-owned company that has been operating in the Pearl River Delta, providing manufacturing services in South China since 2003.
Having resided and worked in China since 2008, Fabian has accumulated 15 years of experience exclusively in South China. During this time, he has played a pivotal role in the operational development of major corporations like the ETEX Group. Additionally, he has successfully managed smaller Chinese business units specializing in engineering services, offering value-added solutions to European clientele.
AMS Group, under Fabian's leadership, currently boasts a workforce of 90 employees, with 80 of them based in our facilities located in Foshan and Shenzhen. The company is actively involved in the development, manufacturing, and assembly of hardware devices, primarily serving customers situated in Europe.
Furthermore, Fabian has also served as a Member of the Board of the Benelux Chamber of Commerce from 2013 to 2016. His extensive experience and dedication to the industry make him a valuable asset to both AMS Assembly Foshan and the broader business community.
Mr. Alessandro Fiorito
Mr. Alessandro Fiorito
Mr Alessandro Fiorito holds a Master Degree in Electronic Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, Italy, and started his career as an acoustics and vibration research engineer with Fiat. In 1998 Mr Fiorito moved to the UK to join Autoneum, where he covered positions in Product Development, Program Management, Sales and Procurement. Before moving to China he worked 3.5 years in South Africa as General Manager of Autoneum-Feltex, a Joint Venture Tier 1 automotive manufacturer of heatshields and vehicle undercovers. Since August 2016 Mr Alessandro Fiorito is the General Manager of Autoneum-Nittoku (Guangzhou) Automotive Sound-Proof Co. Ltd.
Mr Fiorito is passionate about manufacturing with particular emphasis on safety in the workplace, lean production and waste elimination.

Mr. Naren Pillai is the Regional Director of South China of Aden Group. Throughout his eight-year tenure at Aden, Naren has been a driving force in Aden’s transformation to becoming Asia’s leading Integrated Facilities Management solutions provider. As the newly appointed Regional Director of South China, Naren will provide strategic leadership for enhancing regional capabilities to deliver dedicated solutions for education, healthcare, industrial and commercial sectors. In his previous roles, he has led the Planning, Financial Control and Audit Department and initiated the establishment of the Bidding and Data Center, an essential driver for optimizing resource allocation and accelerating business growth.
Naren holds an MSc in International Management from the Paris School of Business and Shanghai Normal University and a BBA in Business Administration and Management from the University of Wollongdong Dubai.

Jeremy’s keen interest in China began many decades ago when he was fortunate to be one of the first overseas tourists to Guangzhou in 1978, shortly after China began to open up to the outside world. In 1990, Jeremy graduated from Leeds University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chinese.
A decade later, Jeremy returned to Guangzhou as a newly-qualified lawyer to assist a major London-based international law firm open its first office in Mainland China. Jeremy was instrumental in building up the firm’s China practice, assisting clients from across the world with many of the legal aspects of establishing and operating business in China.
In 2007, Jeremy founded his own legal consulting practice, JSA, which continues to assist a wide range of foreign investors with many of the legal issues encountered when establishing and operating business in China, including in relation to pre-investment structuring, due diligence, business incorporation, leasing, employment and regulatory issues.
Alongside working as a lawyer, in 2009, Jeremy opened his first bar, The Happy Monk, near the Garden Hotel in Guangzhou. Over the years, The Happy Monk has grown to become an award-winning brand in the hospitality industry in Guangzhou. The Happy Monk now has a team of almost 200 full-time employees and operates five busy downtown Guangzhou locations and one new location in Haikou.
Jeremy is passionate about the development of his team and is a firm believer in the value of coaching and mentorship. Jeremy advocates on-going learning and has just completed an Executive MBA under a joint programme offered by Columbia University Business School, London Business School and Hong Kong University Business School.
Jeremy is currently Chairman of the British Chamber of Commerce Guangdong, a member of the Beachhead Advisory Board of New Zealand Trade and Enterprise and Honorary Legal Advisor to the British Consulate-General Guangzhou.
Jeremy has been recognized for his work in China. In 2011 Jeremy was awarded an OBE by Queen Elizabeth II in recognition to his services on behalf of British businesses and legal services in China.
When not working or studying, Jeremy enjoys travel, history, nature, hiking, sports, debating and the company of friends.
Ms. Joanna Ye
Ms. Joanna Ye
Joanna is a Partner at Forvis Mazars, an international audit, tax and advisory firm established in 1945 with European roots. Nowadays she is leading Audit & Financial Advisory team in Southern China. Grew up in Shenzhen and worked there for 4 years at KPMG, she then joined Forvis Mazars in 2007.
With over 20 years of experience focusing on European enterprises, Joanna has extensive expertise in Sino-European activities as well as the best practices of business operations in China. In addition to development and delivering sizable audit projects across Asia, she is also responsible for cross-border M&A projects in Greater Bay Area. Her areas of expertise include, but not limited to, Manufacturing, Retail and Wholesale, Media & Advertising, and ranging from SMEs to MNCs.
She is fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (“FCCA”), a global leading professional accountancy body established in UK in 1904; and was nominated as a member of ACCA Steering Team in Southern China since 2019.
She is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the European Chamber of Commerce South China Chapter.
