Dear Auto Components WG Member,
We are delighted to invite you to the next Auto Components WG meeting which will take place on Friday, March 27th at 9 am at the European Chamber Office in Shanghai. Attached to this email is an open letter from the Working Group acting Chairs, explaining more about the meeting.
At this meeting we will hold the 2009 Auto Components WG Elections. As you may know, the Auto Components WG Chair and Vice Chairs play a crucial role in driving the WG which includes the drafting of the Position Paper, communicating key messages to the Chinese and European Government, and steering the Auto Components WG meetings. The desired characteristics of a Chair and Vice Chair are a senior industry representative with relevant industry expertise and government contacts that has the time and willingness to support the group. Previous participation in the WG is also highly valued. These honorary positions represent a tremendous opportunity represent the Auto Components WG at very senior levels. Attached is a PDF on the role of Chair.
Anyone who is possibly interested in running for the position of Chair or Vice Chair is therefore kindly requested to inform the Chamber, tbrooks@euccc.com.cn , by COP 23rd March. Voting for the Chair and Vice Chair Positions will be restricted to European Chamber members only.
