The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China (EUCCC) sincerely invites you to participate in the factory tour of Elrad Electronics (Dongguan) Co., Ltd., which will be held on Tuesday, May 9th. You will have the chance to see for yourself the way production line workers build the lean culture while enjoying their work life.
说到企业精益文化建设,相信各制造业企业的生产负责人和人力资源负责人,都有自己的思考。而意拉德电子(东莞)的思路是,从提高工作乐趣出发,通过激发员工的自驱力,“顺便”实现精益文化的建设。
Mentioning lean culture, production managers and HR managers of manufacturing companies might have their own practice and thoughts on how to build it. In the case of Elrad Electronics (Dongguan), it has been successfully achieved by stimulating the inner-drive of the employees with the improvement of job satisfaction.
在过去几年的实践中,他们员工的思路,从“领导要我做”变成“我可以改变”,再到“我可以带动团队作出改进”。在意拉德东莞工厂,不管处于什么岗位的员工,她/他都可以提出并领导某个改进项目。可能是移动一下操作台的位置,便利操作;或是在工具箱里画一下轮廓线,方便工具归位。而管理层成员,则是作为配合者,为项目落成提供合适资源。
Over the past few years, they have internalized employees’ driving force, which shifted from "This is what leaders want me to do" to "This is what I want to do", and finally to "I can lead the team to make improvements". In their factory, employees of any level are free to propose and improve a project, from adjusting the console to draw an outline in the toolbox to facilitate the operation. The management members, in this case, are coordinators who assist them to complete the project.
靠着这一个个“小项目”的落实,他们的客户投诉下降至个位数,近几年的离职率大幅低于制造业平均水平, 员工也获得了满满的成就感。
With the implementation of these "small projects", the complaint rate has dropped to single digits and turnover rate in recent years to below average rate in manufacturing. Employees have also harvested a great sense of achievement.
