Decarbonization of the electric power system is the key to realize the “double carbon” target. EU SMEs have to increase the usage of renewable energy while decreasing coal power when facing the ever-growing demand in electricity. However, to meet the target is not simply stop using coal power, but to realize multi-energy integration and complementation by optimizing the combination of coal and new energy, and furtherly establish low-carbon electric power system with renewable energy as the main body.
Among renewable energy, solar photovoltaic power generation plays an important role in the future power supply system of "renewable energy + energy storage" since it has a number of advantages that make it particularly suitable to meet today’s energy challenges.
The EU SME Centre and the European Chamber are organising a hybrid workshop to discuss policies, technologies and engagement of EU SMEs in solar photovoltaic power generation in China.
This event will help European SMEs understand the regulatory landscape of green energy; PV’s pros and cons comparing to other green energy options and where and how SMEs could build up their low-carbon electric power system.
Join us on 24th November to hear about the latest developments and best practices from our prominent group of industry players and analysts.
