Event Abstract
During the last 12 months all business sectors have seen a remarkable decrease in real demand for manufacturing goods and services. Purchasing and sourcing have become very critical for every business. Many factories in China had to close down and the one's still running are mostly underutilized. Even service operators such as airlines, hotels and shipping lines have faced a substantially decreasing demand for their services. Over the past year, businesses of all sectors have made great efforts trying to adjust their supply chains to the changed realities.
With 2010 approaching, what actions and activities can companies perform to cope with the new business environment? Questions arise on how to act and react? Will business ever be the same again? And if so, will it be in the short or in the long run? Where will business life go from here? How will the past 12 months affect the near future?
This event’s speakers will address the topic from their personal background.
We are delighted to have Ms. Anne Kuschert from Karl gross Logistics, Mr. John Benito from Bamboo Logistics, a third party logistics company and Mr. Wallerand de Vigneral from Valeo Interior Controls to discuss these and other questions.
