Following the PRD Insight on " HK - SZ " closer relationship in October, the European Chamber PRD chapter is pleased to invite Mazars to talk about the PRC & HK tax implications difference on 10th December.
In view of stricter tax compliance requirements for enterprises and additional effort by SAT to counter tax avoidance practices, foreign investors should reconsider their current investment structures in China. Practices and structures which were acceptable in the past may no longer be viable now.
The seminar will commence with PRC tax updates and recent tax cases. Thereafter, we would advise their tax implications and suggest possible ways to cope with such changes.
This seminar will notably cover:
1) Selection considerations of holding vehicles for PRC manufacturing and trading enterprises
2) Possible PRC and Hong Kong tax implications for import processing and contract processing arrangements
3) Examples of business arrangements for claiming offshore income for Hong Kong profits tax purpose with potential PRC tax risks
