The Leadership Pipeline
LTP project is based on Leadership Pipeline model which is created by Ram Charan. Leadership is growing up from “leader of self” to “leader of others”, developing to “leader of leaders”, updating to “functional leader” and finally achieve ”business leader”. The greatest difficulties and challenges of leadership development is the transition, and the consequent function and management thinking change. Many companies lack of a effective leadership pipeline.
Appropriate work value, authorization, time application and skills are the basement for a leader. Most enterprises take a training course to fill the need of leadership development, however, it may not successfully achieved via several training courses, a large number of enterprises interviews and research shows: the leadership echelon formats through a reasonable career path, individuals can’t transit to competent leader before stage of learning and training, which is the fundamental problem of enterprises. We will demonstrate a detail during this forum.

Before becoming CEO of Sirrah Group Kent Jonasen spend 12 years in Maersk’s human ressource function. From 2004-2008 Kent was Deputy Head of Group Human Resources in Maersk responsible for talent management, leadership development, executive development and executive compensation. During his period at Deputy in the HR function Kent led the implementation of a global companywide integrated leadership development initiative together with James Noel based on the Leadership Pipeline concept to impact more than 10,000 leaders in more than 100 countries. The project secured reliable executive succession plans and a 90% hit ratio on talents in the executive talent pool and a significant saving on duplication of different leadership initiatives across the organisation. Today Kent has specialised in making the Leadership Pipeline concept operational and supporting organisations in implementing the concept.
