After overcoming challenges in 2013, what have we learned? How do companies in the Pearl River Delta region best align with Customs regulations to ensure smooth operations in 2014?
This event will highlight the main regulatory changes that took place in 2013 and present case studies to demonstrate operational challenges and solutions to trading in China, as well as key trends to anticipate in 2014. The topics that will be covered include tariff measures (such as the revised customs valuation rules), non-tariff measures (such as CIQ credit management system) and trade facilitation measures (such as reduction of so-called "red tape" at the border to promote international trade).
An update of VAT regulations, Circular Caishui [2014] 106 (“Circular 106”), that came into effect on 1 January 2014 will also be presented.
This event is supported by Invest Shenzhen.
