The Trainer, David Xu – Senior Consultant at Staufen Shanghai
Mr. Xu has been working for Staufen as a Senior Consultant since 2012. Before that he gathered work experience in automotive and appliance industry for 17 years. Using his engineering background and know-how, he was engaged in 3 localization projects as project leader in automotive environment and furthermore he was leading lean transformation activities in other industries.
As a Lean consultant at Staufen Shanghai, Mr. Xu has been working in many projects regarding 5S, TPM, SMED, Shop floor Management and the implementation of other tools and methodologies. Especially the set-up of KANBAN and pull system logistics and WIP reduction in automotive and appliance industry can be considered as his core competencies. Furthermore he gathered experience in holistic Lean transformation projects including the definition of value adding production systems. Mr. Xu was also involved in modularization projects in R&D environments and has profound knowledge in Lean Product Development.

作为一个精益专家,徐先生从事过很多5S/TPM/SMED/车间管理及精益工具实施及精益工厂转化的项目,尤其在看板和拉动生产系统在汽车及家电行业实施及物流保障,降低库存水平等方面有着丰富的经验。此外徐先生在整体的精益转化和增值系统的建立有很丰富的经验。
