The SME Working Group of the European Chamber is very pleased to invite you to its 15th Breakfast Seminar on Tuesday 27th February 2007, 8.30am at Capital Club.
This seminar will address:
Recruitment and Salary Trends in China
The objective of the seminar is to enhance your understanding of recruitment techniques in China as well as to have a better idea of the current salary trend. The seminar will provide you with both theoretical and practical insights on these subjects.
We are delighted to welcoming the following speakers:
Speaker 1: Garry Wang, Senior consultant, Hewitt
Mr. Wang will give an overview of the salary trends for all different working levels in China. He is going to share with us the results of the yearly salary survey Hewitt conducts. The different components of salary such as retention benefits will also be analysed.
Speaker 2: Lilian Liao, HR Attraction Advisor, Shell (China) Limited
Ms Liao will share her expertise in recruitment with us. Her presentation will focus on the practical side of recruitment: how to recruit the right people from different levels (skilled technicians, lower level, managerial people), which skills do candidates need to have and which characteristics should be avoided, where to advertise job vacancies, etc.
