The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China is very pleased to invite you to the Breakfast Seminar of the Public Procurement Working Group which will be held on Wednesday 27th of June 2007, 8.30 at Hilton Hotel, Beijing. This seminar will address:
Wrap Ups: Risk Management and Liabilities Issues.
What precautions should we take?
Since the late 1940s, with the boom of mega-construction projects, Wrap-Ups insurance programmes have been used as a viable risk management technique. Although in today's economic and business climate the number of companies using wrap-up policies is increasing, a careful evaluation of the contractual terms generally imposed on parties and the liability issues involved needs to be taken into account.
The upcoming Public Procurement Breakfast Seminar will address the topic of Wrap Ups: Risk Management and Liabilities Issues. What precautions should we take? and will provide participants with a better understanding of how companies should look at risks, insurance coverage and liability issues when dealing with Wrap Ups programmes.
