At this meeting working group members will discuss the agenda for this year’s Position Paper and decide upon what should be highlighted in the Maritime Manufacturing & Industrial Services Working Group Position Paper 2022/2023 (e.g., decide which key recommendations to keep and new key recommendations to put in). The European Business in China – Position Paper is the European Chamber’s primary annual publication. It delivers to the Chinese Government detailed recommendations for improving the business environment, spread across industry sectors and horizontal issues. The Position Paper details how persistent issues, such as limited market access and a complex regulatory environment, prevent European businesses from contributing fully to China’s sustainable development.

The EU SME Centre, European Chamber and China Centre for Promotion of SME Development, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) are pleased to invite you to a joint Working Group meeting, where Mr Sun Wenkai, vice president of the National Institute of Small and Medium Enterprises at Renmin University of China, is going to give a detailed analysis of China's 14th Five-Year Plan for Promoting SME Development. SSAMC Introduction 四川国际简介

Sichuan Services Aero Engine Maintenance Company (SSAMC) is a Joint Venture company created in 1999. SSAMC’s Shareholders are the Chinese flag carrier, Air China and CFM International which is also a 50/50 joint company between Safran Aircraft Engines (France) and General Electric (USA).

SSAMC performs Maintenance and Repairs services (MRO) for CFM engines powering airplanes like AIRBUS A320, BOEING B737 and the new Chinese COMAC C919.
In 2016, SSAMC invested 900 million Yuan in Chengdu Comprehensive Bonded Zone (Shuangliu) to put in operations in 2018 a world class shop embarking High Technology like RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) and several automated lines with advanced equipment.

The Customers of SSAMC are located in 4 continents in Asia, Australia, Europe and Americas. In 2019, SSAMC achieved ¥ 4.5 Bn Yuan (~ 650M USD) revenue with 150 engines repaired. SSAMC is already the first engine MRO

shop in China for CFM engines and SSAMC aims to be, in the short term, the largest Engine MRO shop in Asia.

四川国际航空发动机维修有限公司(简称“四川国际”)是一家中外合资公司,成立于1999年,股东为中国载旗航空公司-国航和CFM国际公司(CFM国际公司是法国赛峰飞机发动机公司与美国GE通用电气公司平股合资成立的公司)。

Meeting on the Findings of InDiCo Report on Association Standards in ICT

The European Chamber is thus pleased to invite you to join our upcoming Working Group meeting on the 3rd November from 16:00 to 17:30, where Ms Mandy Luo, Project Coordinator at the International Digital Cooperation project on ICT standardisation (InDiCo), will present the findings of a dedicated study concluded in September 2020 on the landscape for association standards in China in the ICT and emerging technologies sectors.
