The site is operated by the joint venture BASF-YPC Co. Ltd. (BYC).

The European Commission, DG Enterprise and Industry, has launched a new project, the China IPR SME Helpdesk, to address Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) concerns and opportunities. The China IPR SME Helpdesk is designed to support EU small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) with free information concerning the protection and enforcement of their IP in China.

Mr. Weng Mengyong, Vice-Minister of Ministry of Communications, had a meeting with the delegation led by Mr. Wuttke, President of the European Chamber on 6th March. Both sides exchanged views on the development of modern logistics industry, maritime shipment and the transportation of the dangerous goods in the rivers. Mr. Wuttke presented the Position Paper to the Vice-Minister.
