To effectively manage GHG emission reduction and achieve sustainable development have been identified as challenges facing all sectors of the world in the future.  Chinese government has announced to the world that by 2020, China's carbon dioxide emission per unit of GDP has been reduced by 40% to 45% compared with 2005. In the 12th Five-Year Plan, China has set a target of reducing carbon dioxide emission per unit of GDP by 17%. The 14th Five-year Plan also explicitly stated that China will achieve Carbon Peak by 2030 and Carbon Neutral by 2060. Therefore, companies in different industries are striving to take actions to reduce carbon emission and meet requirements of Chinese government.
