European Chamber's Letter to MFA regarding current visa practices

The European Chamber is concerned about recent and unexpected difficulties encountered in obtaining and renewing business travel visas ("F visas") to China. The European Chamber has received complaints from many of its members regarding these matters and has expressed its concerns in this letter to China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Chamber Members Make Relief Donations for Sichuan Earthquake Victims

Since the earthquake struck Sichuan Province on the afternoon of 12th May 2008, members of the European Chamber have made prompt relief donations for the earthquake victims. According to the latest statistics, at least 30 member companies have donated cash or products with a total value of RMB 141 million.
